I have latop charger plugged into my laptop but cannot get it powered up. The chargers working fine so must something up with the laptop. Is it fixable?

Might be a loose charging port on the laptop?

Try taking out the battery and leaving for 30 seconds. We see this a lot.

Its always going to be a trade off to what value you put on your laptop. It could be a poor connection, or a broken component.

Try Gibbo's suggestion, make sure you click back any safety clips to keep it secure.

Also try the charger with out the battery in.

Did this just give up, or has it been getting worse ?

Is it the original/genuine charger? Some laptops won't take a charger that isn't original or won't allow the battery to charge.

It's original it came with the laptop when I bought it brand new I Had it for 7 years.
