Does anyone know of any shops that 'break' MacBook Airs? Need to change some ribbons and possibly the touchpad controller due to a coffee spill.
Have replaced the keyboard but still not perfect.

pete just try cleaning the cables with pure alcohol i have to admit i use vodka but it sometimes works ,also clean the circuit board with it .if it doesnt work atleast you can lick the vodka off the circuit board lol

I'll give that a go next time I get some vodka in !! haha have looked at the ribbons and it 'looks' as thought the gold has come off, though it 'could' be the coffee my lad spilt on it, hardest part was taking the keyboard off as everything has to come out, then it's glued and riveted in place!! Why my lad had to get a mac eh?
