Does anybody know how to enter a laptop running windows vista as I have forgotten the password

Start in safe mode.
Log in as Administrator.
Find your account via control panel.
Change password.
Restart.
If you can not log in as Administrator then your going to need some tricks.
Just posting obvious first.

As above with Mark, but sometimes without telling anybody, Administrator password is just pressing the enter/return key, unless you know you put a password on the admin name, but if it works don't tell anybody.

If it doesn't download a copy of Hirens. Boot in the password tool and it will remove the password from the computers SAM database for you
