I got my speed regarded today for being 'loyal' and not leaving after a recent poor experience.

Should probably get on to Virgin! haha. not a bad speed though i was quite impressed.

PS i only pay £43 a month for 2 TV boxes on M+, phone with free calls, Tivo and the fastest internet which should be 152 but clearly isnt stabalised yet hence the huge burst speeds!

Got my upgrade from 30MB to 50MB a few days ago

wow nice .. and heres me thinking mine was great since its been a steady 161 mb since the 152 upgrade ....

I would be interested to know if anyone noticed the difference in normal everyday usage. I went from 60 to 100 recently (106 actually) and there is NO difference in practical terms . Perhaps the page loads in 1 millisecond rather than 2, but as far as I can see it behaves identically.

It might be different if I downloaded huge video files but I tend not to do that very often. Even then it is the server that seems to define the time rather than the bandwidth.
