Is it illegal to scan and digitize paper maps
I have most of the Godfrey paper map editions for Wirral and would like to have them as digital images on my pc.
Have asked Godfrey if they had or intended to have digital downloads of them for purchase but was told no.

if its only for your personal use i wouldnt worry. I often print part of a map as its easier to manage. The quality of your scan might not be that good anyway.
