Hi Looking For Advice Please, Daughter Dropped Phone In Water, I Have Placed It In Sealed Bag With Silica, Which Has Worked Fab, Only Problem Is She Can't Seem To Swipe Across Screen To Access Menu/Answer Calls/Texts, I Have Since Replaced Phone Back In Bag Off Silica For Next Few Days Hoping It Might Rectify Itself, We Even Tried Re;Installing Apple Software But To No Avail Because Off Fault On touch Screen :-( Advice Greatly Recieved If Anything Else Can Be Done.

I wrapped mine in a towel and left it on the radiator for a few days, been working for over a year. (SG S2)

How come every word in your post starts with a capital letter??

Write how we like :-)
I used to write backwards on the inside of windows for display purposes.

I just remembered, I used to do it with my left hand, though I`m right handed.

Okay, back on topic for a minute.

Replacement parts for these are hard to get and stupidly expensive at the moment, although I suspect they'll get much cheaper over the next few months (iOS 7 means no one can sell nicked iPhones anymore, so eBay will be flooded with "parts").

It can be stripped and a repair attempted, or Apple will do an Out Of Warranty exchange (give you a new phone) for £209. The warranty on this is 90days or until the one on yours runs out, whichever is longer (the one on yours, 100%).

Expensive I know, but unless it's cleaned properly any other way might be false economy.

you could also go to apple in tears and they may give you a free replacement, it works, not always obviously, but it may be worth trying,

Due to the "geeky" nature of the staff you will also find that the chances of this working increase exponentially in relation to the height of your skirt and the cut of your blouse.

It also helps if only the female of the species follows this advice.
