Are you getting sound coming out of the speakers when playing music etc?

If not, then it could mean that your sound drivers arent installed correctly.

Running Hot?

By giving more information we can be more help.

Does the sound come from your speakers or the computer case?
If it Bleeps is it a long bleep or short?
How many bleeps?
How long since you start your computer does the bleeping occur?

Hi All - thanks for comments - and it is not a sticky keyboard grin

It is not a regular beep from a speaker as I have turned that off - I am pretty sure it is something to do with some form of internal system thing.

it is a funny sort of clicky beep with a little tinny noise before the beep - if that helps describe it that seems to come from internal speaker

My laptop use to do that, I just ignored it, never had a problem.

Does get annoying tho.

The beep could either be the Charging port is loose and your laptop is flicking between 'charging' and 'not charging'

Or it might be that the seeking arm on the hard drive is starting to wear out. It makes a kind of fast squeak, quite similar to a beep. In the shop, we've seen far too many new Dells with hardware issues.

Start it up in safe mode.
This will help with diagnosis.

And let us know if you still get the click bleep.

Sticky keys.
Double press each key?
A key can be stuck and not visibly stuck down.

Is it a laptop ?
