I have just dropped my partner's almost new laptop on the floor. The battery pack fell out. When I restarted it, the screen has gone blue with white lines going through it. What could the damage be?? Also would it be repairable??
Thanks

problem: you broke it. either a cable has come loose or the screen itself is broke, could also be a software/driver issue...

fixable: yes, PM TheDr and he'll get it sorted.

cost: as above.

Have tried to pm him, but his inbox is full. Hopefully he will read this, and be able to assist.

Or if you have contents insurance you could claim on that. I broke my screen once and my insurance covered it.

REALLY need to get a bigger InBox, or clear a few out.

If you bring it down we'll check it for you.

If its just a ribbon out probably do it there and then, if it needs a screen then it might be next day if we don't have one.

Open Good Friday but closed Easter Monday.
