wondering if anyone could give me any advice. My daughters laptop is normally ok on updates, but the latest one, just says do not turn off your comp etc and then gets half way through the update stops and starts the update again, any ideas anyone? would appreciate it. Thanks

What operation system is on the laptop and do you know what the update is ?

If it is on Windows 8, the same thing happened to our laptop. But after about the third time if did complete the updates though

If it's Windows 8 it could take a while, Windows 8 was mainly designed for Tabs an such. If it's windows 7 it could just be taking a long time.

Too true, they tend to release one update followed by another to fix the errors in the previous update. Get it right Bill Gates!

Fixed

System repair disk corrected a few errors.
And its all working now.
