I've got 2 disc drives, one is the original,and the other a mate lent me,the original
will NOT play shop bought DVDs,it will play copys and music though,the one my mate lent
me will do the lot,and the Q is Y

maybe it is set for another region, you can change this up to 5 times i think,i did it, but it was years ago, maybe one of the tech guys can put you straight

Mine is a....Samsung TS-H552
And my mates is a....Lite On SHW 160 P6S

The region was set on 1 and it should of been 2.
