It's an oldish vaio and when switches on the picture does not fill the screen I have tried the resolution but it's at it's highest so can this be sorted at a shop thanks it's onWindows vista

Hi, we get this a lot with the Vaio, it (usually) means that the right driver for the graphics chip isn't in, and Windows has made a "best guess" at it.

Check in your Hardware Settings to see if the display driver has a yellow triangle by it, or is listed as a default VGA. It might even have a driver showing, just the wrong one.
