I've got a scanner for sale in the sale section if anyone is interested.

Does anyone know where I can get a scanner repaired.

Best getting a new one mate there an expensive fix depending whats wrong with it.

Don't forget if you listen in to certain channels you can be prosecuted. In the coastguard we have a dedicated coastguard channel and the MOD channel which it is an offence to listen in on.

If they aren't secure channels they are fair game.

Not quite it is still an office to listen to things, I think it's under the wireless act.

Yes, the long and short of it is you're not meant to intercept
any message that isn't for you. However, it's ok to intercept weather, navigation or amateur transmissions.
