My iPhone 3GS has been unlocked for a while now but never used Cydia tried today an on every app it's says cannot locate package so it pointless being jailbroken if I can't use it any ideas thanks
When you open cydia click on changes and choose upgrade then complete upgrade. Shoudl renew all your sources
Nothing comes up on changes is says downloading package then nothing even comes up I Was told not to update as it will lock my fone again
When Cydia says Failed to fetch apt there's a temporary problem with saurik's server. Wait a few minutes and try refreshing data again go to Changes and tap Refresh sometimes you have to wait a couple hours and try again.
Or try changing your settings from User to Developer as not all packages are available to the User, its going to download new sources You need to wait until that completes correctly.
You need to add a repo I think it's called. Cydia.hackulo.us. Then search for installeous.
Install this and you will have an ap store replica on your desktop, only difference is all apps are free
