Depends what you are after doing?

There are a variety of remote apps for HTPC control.

The Kindle app might be useful if you enjoy reading. (Although back-light screens are not recommended for night time reading.)

Logmein Ignition - Remote PC access, best £20 I've ever spent

NavFree - Free Sat Nav

FilmOnTV - All free view channels via WiFi, about 1min behind real time

logmein is quality, free if jailbroken

scrabble hd and monopoly hd is good, an dead space is very good

I know, installed it on the jailbroken one I got from you, found it so useful I paid for it when I got the iPad2

Got logmein on a few computers now, couple of small problems with it but generally good. I got mine from installus for free
