i just had a kryptview a780 kicked off ebay after reaching £90...are they elegal..i havent a clue why it got kicked off, i got it as a swap for an acer laptop

They aren't illegal but if you're caught using one by your cable company they'll boot you off their network asap. Dunno if they breach ebay's ToS though, did you read through and check?

Yes, i just been intouch with ebay over it and they said virgin media asked them to take it off.....So is it ok to sell it on wikki, or are they elegal to sell full stop.????

Its up to Mark, ebay kick off all the boxes that are easy to hack like there are many other legal things they don't let you sell.

If you put it up, the worst thing that can happen is that Mark takes it off.
