can anyone repair PSPs?
ive got one given to me which wont read UMD's i think ive got it tracked down to the laser as the laser caddys moving sideways and up and down however no red light.
id rather pay someone on here than anyone else
Chris,
I know a place in the Birkenhead precinct if no-one on here can fix it. The place I am thinking of is directly opposite you as you come out of the multi story car park - the one above Argos.
I can't for the life of me think of the name of the place.
Have you considered DIY? There are plenty of how to guides on the net and you can get spares on ebay for reasonable prices. I just replaced the bottom button bar on mine and it was pretty easy
TBH i dot it given to me it was a young family members. ive got the laser working however it was water damaged after it stopped working, however ive dried it out and cleaned the disc reading bits n bobs updated it to the latest version and its working! admitably its no where near perfect but it'll do for now
All's well that ends well then

What the f**k chris?
download the damn games instead, no waiting times whilst loading
I can repair it if your still interested.
If it's the original, i have the parts, £20
If it's the 2nd gen slim, i'll have to order the part, £30
I'll also stick on custom firmware if needed.
