What do you need to connect online using a ps3?
The lad wants to do this. He has a bt socket but does not want a landline phone.
He dusent know what he needs and im clueless!

broadband box (i.e. netgear) or whatever your pc is using. you can plug an ethernet wire into the back or if you have wireless broadband the ps3 can scan and use that as well.

He aint got a pc- he got his own pad tom. Does he need one?

no all he needs is an ethernet port connecting from your phone or wherever the internet is sourced from. you'll need to plug an ethernet wire into the back of the PS3 then turn it on and go to
Settings>Network Setting>Internet Connection. then follow the instructions. as soon as it passes the test you can sign up to the PSN and access everything from the PS Store to Life With PlayStation.
