Anyone else running MSN 7.0 (Windows 2000 only, unless like me, you have hacked it to run in XP or Vista) and finding as of today it is not retaining your display name when you sign out?

It's starting to annoy me, and I don't have the time to look into it!! No way am I going to using Windows Shite Messenger, would rather fire trillian up, but use that for business.

Messenger:Mac is doing the same... it looks like Microsoft have changed something on the protocol a few weeks back, which is leading to the problems. They are probably cost-cutting as I know WLM retains the display name locally rather than remotely.

The gits better sort it soon, or a lot of people will be unhappy, Windows 2000 can't use anything newer than MSN Messenger 7.0
