im after jukebox software, bit random but something like they use in pubs. yano which you can scroll messages along the screen too!

ps it would be even better if it could play DVD's through it too

Not sure if it does exactly what you are after, but have a look at MediaPortal. I know it has a jukebox facility of some sort.
