I think that somehow, my MSN account has been hacked!!

It sent an email to everyone in my contact list,a dvertising electricals or something...

Then, when I signed onto MSn, all my contacts have been deleted !!!


Any help on what I can do ?

could be a trojan?

Downloaded and installed anything recently?

Nope...done all the checks...Malware Bytes etc etc Nothing.

Ive changed my Password now..
Just the ridiculous task of adding everyone again

this is how you can sign on at any computer and your contacts appear. So i would say you have been hacked and your contacts
deleted for fun.

Thats how I used to get into some peoples accounts

I've got a friend with a hotmail account on Hotmail and she regularly 'sends' me the same mail. We all know now not to open it as it has the title 'Hi!'

Whenever I use Windows Live Messenger on someone elses PC (I refuse to use the shite on mine) I lose all my contacts... and last time Rhea lost me on HER account as well, and it wouldnt let her add me!! Then I go back to MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger and all is well.

What a load of shite Microsoft have turned it into!!
