my girlfriends laptop screen has not worked for over a year now and i want to get it fixed, were can I take it?

The screen use to come on when she would bang it but now nothing frown

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer at all??

I think theres a place in Brombrough Retail park, in the units by ASDA and Futness first. Sure they do Computer repairs. Maybe worthwhile trying there?

withthat the place in bromborough is very good for spares etc probably something simple - have you tried opening it up?

think that is SRU computers, I will try open it tonight.

No point contacting the manfacture as it is well out of warranty

X 2 the pirce cos its a laptop.

You may have to consider a new one instead of paying out.

I know this was a while ago, but if you want someone to take a look, Pm me... in my other life I rebuild laptops.(sadly this I do for fun...)

Can you see the display very faintly? There is a xenon bulb at the bottom of the screen that cracks, this lights the whole display, but doesn't mean the screen is broken.
