For any football fans, the following games are live on Sky Sports 1:

- Manchester City v Aston Vila - Sunday @ 16.00

So if your not a Sky Sports subscriber, but a fan of one of them teams, or just football/sports in general, this will probably be of interest to you.

Competition?? Lol, Sky have no competition from VM, Sky's net gain last year was 480,000 customers, Virgin Media's net gain was (minus) -70,000 lmao!

Sky have around 8.5 million customers to VM's 3 million.

Sky are doing it "because they can" lol and also to entice non-subscribers to consider subscribing.

And Sky's ppc (profit per customer) is around 140% (as in 2.4x) more then VM, due to the fact they dont have to continually heavily reduce pricing to both attract and retain customers.

Some peeps will be happy then
