My latest plan for my car is a laguna splitter incorporating indicators enabling me to spray my current indicators red.
What do you think?

Could be good. Is it legal to have the indicators that low?

Well i have checked with a few officers & all they said is do it, it will look smart lol, said if i did get asked then it would take a very picky officer in a bad mood as it has front side & rear indication?
Either way i will be keeping a spare set of indicaters in case its moaned about so a quick swap back. happy

Will look tops mate. Why they never made morrettes like the mk6s ones ill never know.

as for the legallity, it may or may not be illegal, but what worries me is...what if someone infront of u cant see u indicating? accident possible?

I think you would have to be pretty close tbh scoop to not see the bottom of the bumper (at which case would be too late anyway lol)
They are quite bright too.
Same thing could be said about m3 mirrors with side repeaters?
There will be a blind spot whilst on the motorway wher im sure i wouldnt see them indicating a lane change if i where positioned almost but not quite level if you get me?

Splitters (Usually rubber) often get knocked even at standard ride height, would you not be worried about damage?

Yep, this will be a concern dazza, luckily the laguna one i will be fitting is rubber & i will look into protecting the indicators (plastic) as best i can.
Its more likely to be scraping (road humps) rather than knocked tbh.
So im hoping it will be ok.
If not then the indicators will be re located to the bumper mesh behind, which i know has been done & easily done.

Hasnt one person on evo done this already? could be an idea to ask him how its going, and how visable his indicators are from normal sitting in a car height

i think the main problem may be the fact theyre behind the splitter, reducing the viewing angle (like having a TV with the frame protruding forward 2 foot)

If they were flush with the front of the splitter,i reckon they'd be legal, and more importantly, safe as houses

How about making the spots on the bumber as indicators and having the spots on the splitter?

Too late im afraid craggy as the spots are now fibreglassed into the wrc for safety. Would of been a great idea though. happy
