I have regurlar problems with my PC,every few months i get a CPU overheat warning, which on my PC is alerted by the main PC illumination (power light and VIAO lettering on front of tower) flashing, accompanied by a loud beeping. The way i solve this is by opening up the case and clearing the CPU vents of dust, also clear the heatsink and fans of dust, best thing to do this with is either an air duster (can of compressed inert gas) or IPA (computer cleaning solvent)
obviously done with power disconnected

If ur PC overheats or even if it doesnt i recommend doing this to keep it dust free and improve cooling, also, soon im gonna buy bigger better fans to help keep it cool and maybe that will help stop dust settling on my CPU
