I know of four films shot in Wallasey/Wirral.

The Magnet. I Thank a Fool. Let him have it. The other one I cant remember what it is called but remember them filming in the 60's at Seacombe. Had Nichol (sp?) Williamson in it. Are there any more?

Speaking of the Magnet, Near the end when the kids are on a pier/ferry? Is that Egremont Ferry before they pulled it down? It isn't New Brighton.

Edit. He was called Nicol Williamson and I think the film was called The Reckoning.

Wasn't there a mini series about John Lennon filmed at New Brighton as well. It was filmed before the lighthouse was refurbished. This was late 80's-early 90's. Not sure if it was a feature film originally.

Yeah i think it Victoria Street, were the arcades and bingo used to be, we was going there one night and all the shops were borded up ready for filming.
And they changed the numbers of buses to London ones.
