I am trying to locate the street in Seacombe that was called Bosnia. My mother was born on that street in the 1920s but it appears no longer there. Would anyone remember this street and what happened to it?

Demolished in the mid 1960's ;

Wheatland Lane Re-Development
Demolition of more than 60 houses in Beaconsfield Road, Servia Street and Bosnia Street marks the beginning of the first stage in Seacombe’s next big re-development scheme.

It was off Beaconsfield Street which was off Demesne Street . Seacombe Recreation Ground was directly behind Bosnia Street .

The site has not been built on since .

I have an image of numbers 5 / 9 Bosnia Street , message me if you want a copy .

I think its three times parts of that area has been flattened and the "new development" never completed.

Hello,
I have just seen your post of you looking for Bosnia Street in Seacombe, it was off beaconsfield road but I think it would have been demolished in preparation for the the building such as Lowry bank and priory road to be built.
Hope that helps you
