Does anyone know where Uncle Tom's Cabin was in Leasowe Road? It was the address of the Howard family in the 1891 census.

It's enumerated 3 properties from Wallasey Terrace towards Leasowe Castle, it depends on what area Wallasey Terrace as a building covered. I'd guess it's one of the buildings where the "W" is.

Many thanks for that Bert1. To me that would make it somewhere between the brickworks (which I remember) and St Georges Sec Mod (which I attended). Do remember there were a couple of houses/cottages along that stretch of Leasowe Road.
