I'm doing family history and looking for a map of tranmere that shows oak tree cottages. Also pics and maps of area by the priory, where my great grandparents had a green grocers shop and house. Thanks

Oak Tree cottages were at the back of The Royal Standard pub on the New Chester Rd [ if I remember right ]

I'm pretty sure that either my Great-Great-Grandad or the one before him was Coal Merchant operating out of Oak Tree Place (I may have my generations a bit muddled!)

Yes - there still is a yard there - used by a repair garage
