Hi Karen,
Sorry if I duplicate what you already know.

Joseph Hill, birth registration, Sept Qtr, 1872, Birkenhead, 8a 449.
Joseph Hill, Annie Harrison, marriage registration, June Qtr, 1891, Liverpool 8b 194.

You will need Joseph's birth certificate to confirm parentage, but I think the following is correct.

1881 census
10 Wood St, Bhead,

Joseph Hill, 41, head
Annie, 39, wife
Anne, 11, dau
JOSEPH, 8, son
Maria, 6, dau
Jane E, 3 dau
Rg11, Piece3576, Folio65, Page38.

1901, Taylors Buildings Bhead.

JOSEPH Hill, 30 head
Annie Hill, 28, wife.
Emily, 9 dau
Annie, 5 dau
Joseph 3 son
May, 10 months, dau

1911, 6 Chapel Place, Bhead

Annie Hill, 38, wife, married,
Emily, 20 dau
Annie, 16, dau
Joseph, 13, son
May, 10 dau
Frances, 8 dau
Rg14 Piece21982

The 1911 census shows Annie married but without Joseph at home, I'm sure I have found him and PM'd you the details.

Joseph Hill was in Walton Jail in 1911. Difficult to follow after that:
A possible Death for him in Birkenhead in 1948.

There is a probable Birth Registration for him in the Sept. Qtr of 1872 in Birkenhead.

Joseph Hill is on the 1881 census at 10, Wood St, Birkenhead, with his parents Joseph & Anne Hill, both say they were born in Northwich. Their first couple of children would seem to have been born in Manchester.

He's not in prison in 1911.Enumerators book shows elsewhere.

Patrick Cavanagh born abt 1903 to Thomas Cavanagh & Mary Ryan who married in the Liverpool registry office in 1881

Thomas was the son of John Cavanagh & Catherine Lavel who married in the Birkenhead Registry office in 1857. Both appear to come from Ireland.
