Derby House Rock ferry - 21st Jan 2013 10:04pm
im trying to research a "Derby House" in Rock Ferry.
Does anyone have any further info on it?
I know exactly where it was and that it was at one time the seat of the Minshull family who at that time owned most of Rock Ferry and that a Lord Mayor of Liverpool (William Oakshott) also lived there, would love to hear anything anyone else might know and see any pictures, im baffled by the importantance of the house that theres very little info on it even though it was only demolished around the 1930`s. Apparently it was in the Elizabethan style.
