My Mum just related a story to me about four traffic cops who were helping a broken down motorist on the M53 and there was a pile up and four of the officers died, can anyone shed any light on this for me? She thinks it was around the late 80's early 90's

Yes I do remember it but it was that long ago I dont remember the details. For some reason I think it was by Woodchurch and it was two traffic officers, but I cant recall anymore than that.
