i remember iff i had been a bad lad my nan would say ,youll end up in the naughty boys school.i always picked up the pace when i walked past it.has anyone got any stories about it.

It had the kids who would probably be tagged as having attention defecit syndrome or somesuch today. The lads I knew who went there were pretty much under achievers to say the least but they were still part of our "gang".

We were always told if we were naughty we'd go to Claremount School in Wallasey. I remember one kid going there, we were horrified

Claremount is for kids with learning difficulties. I think its a great school, very well run.

wasn't that the radio station building that's still there more or less opposite the back of what used to be the coop in Grange rd

I remember my mum saying it was called "Claughton on the Hill"

It was colloquially known as the "backward" school if I remember rightly.
