Codd Water Bottle (the ones with the glass marble in the neck). It has Premier Table Water Company New Brighton on one side and a lighthouse on the other. Does anyone have any information on this business or where it was?

Isn't there supposed to be a fresh water spring that comes out somewhere by the fort/lighthouse?

Not sure if that is anything to do with it?

I know Wallasey had wells which we once dug down into but mineral springs?

Never understood mineral water. In the ground for thousands of years and yet once its bottled it has a sell-by-date put on it.

Very true and I have never understood anyone buying bottled water when there is perfectly good stuff in the taps.

..the Stonewear bottle with New Brighton Lighthouse on it is quite a collectors piece. Apparently worth a few quid more than your average stonewear bottle, so hang on to it if it's yours!

...sorry, but can't spell 'stoneware'!!!

Mines like the glass one, not worth much, just a nice bit of tat to gather dust. Thanks for the info.
