Hi all,

I am extremely interested in the WW2 tunnels in Tranmere and Bidston. Was wondering if anyone who has been inside them would do it again, with me, because I have no idea how to access them.

We used to play in the Tranmere tunnels when I were a lad (many Years ago) there were 2 entrances, the main one was where the industrial estate is right at the back and there was another near hinderton rd i think it was a coal yard at the time. once we were very brave and went in one end and came out the other.

Hi, Rover; there were in fact 3 entrances & 3 emergency exits/ ventilation points. There's a plan in the thread Christine linked to. There's another thread somewhere but I can't find it now.
