My mum grow up in seacombe on the waterfront. demolished because of the tunnel and made into a pinic area they were ment to have been made into a garden for the blind which never happened but your still not allowed to build on the area.. This is just past where the ventilation tower is now. Has anyone got any old photo's of the houses which stood there, or any of the history about the area. would be much appreciated.Thanks in advance, as my research is failing. grin

Thank you for that picture, her house was the one on the corner, as the big white building behind it the labour exchanged overlooked there garden. Your site is very interesting too, I have bookmarked it as I could spend hours looking through all of that smile
