I've looked at this picture many times and now give up trying to understand it. At the top right under the green "V", there is what appears to be a building with a huge block bridging across. What is this?

It is rougly where the police station is, I think?

For those not familiar, these are the woodside graving docks in the forground.

it the police portacabin used as an office extension.
its still there and still used. But only till they move to there new home in the southern docks
