1st Thing thanks Mark xx and the mods xx

I was asked if there was any Wrestling Schools in the Wirral, well I'm happy to tell you all that there is and many past wwe stars went there, Britain’s longest established wrestling organisation celebrated 40 years of high profile action around the country in 2010. Since then many stars and stars to be have competed in the All Star Wrestling ring.

In the early years, progress was steady with the first international stars attracted including John Gildon and Chief Billy White Cloud plus European Ladies stars Lena Magnanni and Lola Garcia. Later, top names like Mark ‘Rollerball’ Rocco, Tony St Clair, Wayne Bridges, Giant Haystacks, Marty Jones, Johnny Saint, Mitzi Mueller, Kendo Nagasaki and future WWE superstar Steven Regal began appearing.

After the fall of TV wrestling in the UK in 1988 All Star moved with the times, bringing in stars from North America and Japan, whilst encouraging top home talent and developing a whole generation of new younger stars. All Star had become a popular stopping off point for American globetrotters down the years after ‘Mighty’ John Quinn & ‘Gorgeous’ Terry Garvin blazed the trail.

Since then WWF/WWE names to appear for All Star include Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, ‘Earthquake’ John Tenta, Yokozuna, Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart, The Bushwackers and Greg Valentine amongst others.

In more recent days stars such as Gangrel, Big Vito, Tatanka and Ricky Steamboat junior have graced the All Star ring.

Many talents who developed their in ring skills at All Star have gone on to greater thing with the WWE including:

‘The Squire’ Dave Taylor

What Happened After Raw Went Off The Air – Cena Faces Punk

Following the conclusion of Monday’s live Raw broadcast, John Cena referred to his earlier sports teams mentions and challenged CM Punk to a Street Fight. Punk came out and approached Cena outside the ring.

Midway through the bout, Punk grabbed the microphone and congratulated New York Yankees player Derek Jeter on his 3,000th hit. He hurled the television monitors from the announce table but was then hit by Cena with a microphone. Punk then struck Cena’s back with a chair.

Punk taunted Cena’s dad and wife at ringside, ultimately shoving elder Cena. Cena, Sr. punched Punk in response, sending him to the ring. Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on Punk and covered him for the pinfall victory.

Breaking The Streak - CM Punk vs. Undertaker?

I used to think that the Streak should never be broken. It's that one untouchable legacy in the WWE today... or at least it was.

CM Punk is poised for a push of epic proportions. This current angle is one of the best things that I've ever seen on a TV screen and clearly a lot of people agree. They can't even keep his merchandise in stock. If they carry out this angle properly, CM Punk will carry his own legacy. He walked out with the title, which indirectly retired Vince McMahon. HE RETIRED VINCE and now he's back as the true champion of the WWE. There's a lot of noise up on this website about "we want CM Punk vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXVIII."

Everybody seems to want to get creative and write up their little fanfics about how the buildup will go. Problem is, none of that shit is creative. They basically all rehashed the HBK and HHH storylines. "WHO'S THE BEST? EPIC!!!" And then 'Taker wins. yawwwwwwwwwwwwn. I literally just yawned while typing here. It's bad, baby.

When CM Punk was wearing Pepsi gym shorts and cussing out fat bitches in IWA, a lot of people probably didn't figure him for a future player in the WWE. But he did it. Then at Money In The Bank he walked out with the strap. On the night that he first announced he would do it, before "The Infamous Rant" and everything that followed, who thought they were gonna really let him do that? But he fooking did it. NOBODY thinks he can beat 'Taker at Wrestlemania, but he can do it, and maybe should do it.

After all, you're supposed to retire on your back and Taker looks old as shit, so are we supposed to be satisfied with him beating our man CM Punk when he's on a meteoric rise? He's on top of his game. He took the title from John Cena AND he took it away from Vinnie Mac. He put a 23 year old song on the iTunes top 200. He even elevated John Cena's game. Did anybody notice that his match with Rey was really good? Full blog on that later. A loss for Punk at Mania would be fooking insane. One of the stupidest things they could do is to have CM Punk become just another name on any list, no matter how legendary.

So now whether or not Punk should even face Taker comes into question. Do you really want to see the Undertaker lose at Wrestlemania? Cause if he's facing CM Punk, he has to. You DO NOT take this hot and unique an angle and waste it by throwing the guy into a story that's been used every year and has essentially been the same every year for a long time and then have him job. That doesn't make a lick of sense.

What the WWE is shorthanded on right now more than anything else, it's future legends. All-time greats. You knew in their day that Rock, Austin, Taker, Kane, Foley, HBK, HHH, Ric Flair, Steamboat, Piper, Sting, Hogan, Macho Man R.I.P. and God bless, etc. were going to go down in history. Who are the living legends in the WWE right now? HHH? He's a suit now. John Cena? Half the fan base isn't happy about that. Rey Mysterio? No doubt about it, but personality-wise he's a garden variety babyface. Jericho keeps saying he'll be back and Orton is cementing his legacy right now, and that's about it because there's still time to drop the ball on the Miz and pretty much anybody else on the roster. CM Punk is a legend right now. He's going to go down in history as one of the best ever and we already know it. He cannot job at Mania, and if anyone deserves to break that Streak, it's him.

Of course there's no evidence that the match is even being considered by WWE. It's just some speculation that I thought it'd be interesting for me to address, and there are many, many other things that Punk could do at Mania so that they wouldn't even have to confront the issue. However the more I think about it the more I really want to see it happen.

Punk draws a lot of comparisons to Austin, but what about Taker? He's got the tats, the cult, the blatant disregard for authority and the God complex. There's your fooking story, guys. Not "the Streak and professional admiration and fooking blach blach blaccch." Howbout an actual feud?! There are a million possibilities: I'm not like you, I'm better than you ever were, whatever. Any other personal issue they can think of, you know, whatever. And what's nice is that Punk has the skills to put together a phenomenal build (no pun intended) with little to no ring-time for Taker. I also felt that the feud they had over the WHC could've been done better and I'd like to see take two.

Time to wrap this shit up. CM Punk is the best wrestler in the world. If Undertaker loses to him at Mania in one of the most hotly anticipated and brilliantly worked matches you've ever seen, is it going to hurt his legacy? Hell no. As far as I'm concerned it would be almost as good for the Undertaker as it would for Punk. There are so many old guys in the wrestling world who just won't stop, even though they really should. Do you want Undertaker to be That Guy? Do you want him to keep coming out another year older, grayer, more broken, to wrestle a guy 25 years younger than him AND WIN, then get stretchered away to have surgery? I don't want to see that shit. I said CM Punk is a legend, and it's true. To anyone who knows anything the man is a legend. But the next step is to make it fooking undeniable. Yeah, he beat Vince. But people have done that before. Nobody beats the Undertaker. But somebody must.

There will be no Undertaker Vs Punk because they'd have to storyline it. Which they can't because Taker is officially retired. He's having one more match at WM28 and that's it. It can't be done because there can't be a storyline.

Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson has taken his feud with Abdullah the Butcher from the ring and the media into the courtroom. On Monday, Nicholson filed a suit against Larry Shreve (Abdullah's real name) in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, charging negligence, assault, and battery.

Nicholson's lawsuit seeks $6,500,000 in damages.

Under Ontario's Family Law Act, co-plaintiffs include Laura Joan Nicholson, Arthur Gwyn Nicholson, Frederick Kerry Nicholson, and Joan Greenwell, each claiming $40,000 for general damages.

The lawsuit stems from a 2007 bout in Ottawa, Ontario, where Nicholson alleges that Shreve cut him with a razor blade without his permission. Nicholson alleges that Shreve's blood mixed with his own and gave him Hepatitis C.

Nicholson learned of his infection in mid-2009. In September 2009, World Wrestling Entertainment pulled a three-year contract offer to Nicholson, allegedly on the basis of his disease.

Over the past couple of years, Nicholson has been collecting thoughts from wrestlers about the use of blood in matches for a documentary entitled Don't Bleed On Me.

Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Shreve carved out a legendary career as Abdullah the Butcher, a maniacal wrestler bend on destruction and drawing blood from opponents. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and runs a restaurant.

According to Nicholson, his lawyer met with Shreve in September 2010 in Atlanta, and Shreve agreed to provide his blood work. Yet, the suit alleges, Shreve never provided the promised sample or result.

On July 17th, Shreve posted a note on his Facebook page: "I received my medical reports; I have NO hepatitis, or AIDS and anything. My blood tests are ALL negatives then these fools will be prosecured in justice... Hannibal, Billy Graham and especially New Jack, the most vulgar Boy whom business knew!"

Ronald Caza, a partner at Heenan Blaikie, is representing the 28-year-old Nicholson.

So, it finally happened. Vince got his wish and has removed “wrestling” from the World Wrestling Entertainment. We all knew it was coming! Right? I mean, we’ve been joking about this happening for years and assuming that this has been the goal since about 1982. So no one should be shocked. Appalled maybe. But shocked? No. There is no shock in hearing the news that the word “wrestling “has been removed from the biggest wrestling company in the known universe.

The end is nigh.

Well... maybe not....

When one looks a little more deeper at the news, it starts to lose some of its sting. First off, when WAS the last time you heard the word “wrestling” on a WWE broadcast? When Joey Styles worked shot himself off the air? When Brett and Shawn went 60 minutes at WrestleMania XII? Maybe. It might even be longer than that. Perhaps it was Gorilla Monsoon calling a Greg Valentine-Ron Garvin match or Bob Backlund turning back a Nick Bockwinkel title challenge? Point being: The WWF/E hasn’t been a “wrestling-based” company in a long, long time.

Second, have you ever been to a Raw or Smackdown TV taping? That’s a television program. Plain and simple. Yeah, there is a ring, a referee, (some)talented wrestlers in a “match,” but those cameras are not recording a wrestling event like some camcorder propped up on a tri-pod at an Indy show. (Even a large scale one.) Those cameras are, in fact, broadcasting a weekly, episodic television show complete with performers playing characters and moving along storylines through short vignettes or action that takes place in a ring. And it’s done with such impressive, precision that it needs to be appreciated from time to time.

Team Vince is a brand. It is Kleenex to everyone else’s tissue. They are the only American promotion to fully make money on the product they are most associated with... which to the mainstream folks is still: wrestling. Think about it. TNA is funded by a power company. At its peak, WCW was a sub-division of another large corporation. ECW couldn’t survive on just wrestling alone. Even Ring of Honor, every one's favorite lil’ engine that could, was getting help from HD Net and probably funding from business sources not having to do with tights and bodyslams. There is no such thing as “the wrestling business.” It doesn’t exist. Vince knew this. He had to. And he was smart enough, brave enough, ruthless enough, and, yeah, lucky enough to be able to take his product outside of the structure it was built on. We all know the good, bad, and genius ways he did this. Hate him. Love him. Doesn’t matter: he did it.

You hear and read this comment a lot: Vince can try and try, but he’ll always be associated with wrestling.

True. But, the biting undertones that often accompany that line of thinking is overlooking one thing. Despite every failed bodybuilding promotion, football league, movie venture, or political bid he is still here and still in the position to take more risks. Something will hit. One day.

So, WWE can help produce your live event. Awesome. I wish the Academy Awards ran with the precision of even a NXT webcast.

So, WWE will produce some more movies. Perfect. While not great, I’ll still rather watch Triple H chaperone kids on a field trip than a puzzling remake of Arthur or Seth Rogen as a superhero.

So, WWE will have it’s own cable channel with new original programming, possibly even not related to wrestling. Great. My TV remote occasionally gets stuck on a channel devoted entirely to weather. Weather has its own channel. WWE broadcasting should too.

So, a moonsault will never be referred to as a “wrestling” move on WWE TV. Cool. We know what it really is, know what skill it takes to do it right, and it will remain as stunning as a move (when done right) as it was the first time you saw one years ago. Vince can’t change that. Ever.

This is not to say that all this is perfect for the “business.” I’m not suggesting that you shouldn’t respect a good ole’ fashioned rasslin’ match or the technical skills of Davey Richards, Bryan Danielson, or The Miz. (Kidding!!!) This doesn’t mean you should stop enjoying Jim Cornette shoot videos. All this is to say that this is probably not going to affect your Monday night wrestling viewing experience as much as you want to believe it will

due to fan feedback, with British and Irish

IMPACT WRESTLING has received since
starting on Challenge in February. In the
last six months, the programme has
doubled its audience and become the most
watched weekly wrestling show on British
television of the last 10 years.
Companion show Xplosion recently moved
to a prime time slot on Challenge and is
broadcast every Wednesday night at 10pm.
IMPACT WRESTLING’s monthly PPV events
will also continue to go out on a
Wednesday night at 10pm, with Xplosion
moving to midnight on Tuesday on those
weeks.
Challenge is part of Sky TV and can be
found on Sky channel 125, Freeview
channel 46 and Virgin Media channel 139.

Word going around at Tuesday’s WWE tapings was that creative has discussed popping the big CM Punk storyline at Survivor Series with CM Punk and Colt Cabana’s team taking on Triple H and Kevin Nash’s team. One idea was thrown to have Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli on Team Punk.

WWE is looking to keep the Punk and Triple H storyline going through the fall to help against Monday Night Football competition

WWE is going with the idea that long-term booking works better and will be booking more angles ahead of time and going backwards.

WrestleMania 28 has been a hot topic for months now and the way they have been building up Mark Henry as of late has to do with a possible match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania next year. Some are against the idea with the feeling that Taker shouldn’t waste one of his remaining WrestleMania matches on a guy like Henry, but the match has been discussed.

Daniel Bryan cashing in Money in the Bank and John Cena vs. The Rock is also on tap for Miami next year. Another top match that has been discussed is Triple H vs. CM Punk.

Regarding Bryan cashing in at WrestleMania 28, one source doesn’t expect that storyline to last through the end of this year.

Santino Marella suffered a separated left shoulder following a car accident Thursday night in Toronto.

The official WWE website spoke to Marella this morning about the incident.

“I had just left home and was going to get my hair cut before I began packing for WWE’s trip to Puerto Rico,” explained Marella. “[My barber] wasn’t around, so I just decided to go home.”

He was then hit by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene of the collision until police arrived, and no foul play is suspected.

“My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in,” Marella said. “The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder.”

Marella’s car came to rest near a light pole, and sustained significant damage.

“There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck,” Marella said. “Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out.”

WWE’s website has a new storyline article up questioning if Triple H can beat CM Punk at Night of Champions, pointing out that Triple H has lost the only other match he’s been in this year – against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27.

With Ring of Honor’s ninth-annual Death Before Dishonor fast approaching, ROH officials had yet to make official a match stipulation that both The Briscoe Brtohers (Jay and Mark) and The All Night Express (Kenny King and Rhett Titus) have wanted: The Ladder War.

Both teams have taken to Twitter to express their frustration with officials for not making a decision.

Regarding the decision, ROH Executive Producer Jim Cornette remarked, “We have come to a conclusion that this issue between The Briscoe and The All Night Express is not going to be settled any other way. These four men have essentially told ROH officials they will not stop the violence until the Ladder War is set for New York, and quite frankly, I am sick and tired of having to pull them apart at every turn. So, on September 17th at Death Before Dishonor IX, live on iPPV, it will be Jay and Mark Briscoe versus Rhett Titus and Kenny King…in Ladder War 3! Here are some more exclusive details on Kurt Angle's DWI arrest:

-- Kurt Angle was arrested in Front Royal, VA (Warren Co.) for DUI.

-- Kurt's car was spotted by another driver on I-66 East near Linden. He was swerving between lanes. Virginia State Troopers responded to the call, pulled him over, and determined he was intoxicated. He was then taken to the Warren County Jail.

-- Angle posted $2,000 bond and was released from the Warren County Jail at 3:31 a.m.

-- According to our sources, Angle was texting and driving in addition to drinking.

-- Kurt's rental car was picked up by JR King of JR's 24 hour towing in Strasburg. It was towed to an impound lot where it was picked up at some point today.

-- Angle was previously arrested on March 25, 2011 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and charged with "being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated," after failing a field sobriety test. He later pled guilty to the charges and was on April 20 sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, a chemical dependency evaluation, a $250 fine, $225 in court fees, and a ten day suspended jail sentence.

CM Punk is on the cover of "WWE Magazine's" October issue, which features an "explosive, controversial" interview with the Second City Saint. The self-proclaimed "Voice of the Voiceless" was given another soapbox to voice his concerns with WWE's brain trust, his fellow wrestlers who deserve a better shot, and whether anything will change following his return to the sports entertainment organization. Highlights from the interview are as follows:

In your estimation, what do you feel is wrong with WWE right now, and what would you do to change it?

What's wrong with WWE right now is that there isn't enough youth. Most of the ideas are old. They worked in The Attitude Era or in the '80's—and I'm not necessarily saying that they're bad or they're wrong —but they need updating, they need tweaking. There needs to be some young minds spinning the webs, so to speak. I'm sick of seeing people who are excellent wrestlers get passed over for people who have abs or who were good second-string linemen in a European football league. I think there are a lot of people who, on their own terms, have made their own personas and perfected their craft simply out of love for what they do. They're not trying to be bodybuilders or footballs players who fail miserably and then call their uncle or their dad and say, "Hey, I'll give that wrestling thing a shot because I suck at everything else."

Why do you think it's such a strike against guys who—like yourself—are fans but aren't from a sports or bodybuilding background?

Now, this is complete speculation. I can't even tell you what somebody else is thinking. I can only say what I think works. And I'm not going to be right 100 percent of the time just like they're not going to be. Somewhere along the way I think we lost the Midas touch. This whole thing became uncool. I think the people who love it aren't going to go do something else if they get fired. Like Colt Cabana. He's a perfect example. He is a wrestler. If he gets hired and it doesn't work out, he's wrestling somewhere else the next day. He's not trying to shoehorn himself into an accounting job. He's a wrestler. He's always going to be there. So I just think if you love wrestling sometimes—maybe-you're punished. You're placed last in line. The attitude is: You're always going to be here, maybe we can use you later if we need you, but right now we're going to use this guy because he was good at college football, but he didn't quite make it in the NFL.

Another one of your gripes is about how the WWE Championship looks. How would you redesign the title? What is the definitive look of that particular championship for you?

Oh God. How long's this interview? Honestly, I think old Dwayne used to have a cute little blue cow on his title or something. Then, of course, Stone Cold had the Smoking Skull Title. I don't know. I think I could Straight Edge the hell out of that thing. A couple of "X"s might make it look good. Make it look like a title should look like, and not make it look like some sort of weird, rapper bling. I feel the definitive look, though, is what I like to call "Bret Hart's Title." I think everyone likes to call it the "Winged Eagle Title." That's a little redundant. I'm pretty sure most eagles have wings. That's the one that always sticks out in my mind.

This anger with your job has been festering for a while. Was there one moment backstage when you felt you'd had enough?

I can name one off the top of my head. How about main-eventing a pay-per-view as the World Heavyweight Champion against Undertaker and then, a few months later, being in a dark match against R-Truth at WWE TLC? That's pretty ignorant in my mind. This is the problem. We do this too many times to too many Superstars. It's a startstop kind of thing. The company likes to spotlight certain people. Like, "This week, Kofi's cool," and then, the next week, "We changed out minds we like Dolph this week." It flip-flops back and forth ad nauseam, and the next thing you know, the people couldn't give a crap about either guy.

When did the powers that be really begin to take your leaving WWE seriously?

I told them probably a year out. They would say, "Hey, how about we talk about your contract?" And I would just say, "No, I don't really feel like it." And they would say, "Okay, back off. Punk's crabby and temperamental. We'll get him next week." And the next week it would be, "Hey, let's talk about it." And then maybe eight or ten months out, it was, "Hey, I really want to sit down. We really need to sign you a new deal." And that's when I straight up said, "No, I'm not interested."

Take us back to your title match at WWE Money In The Bank. What did you do differently that day knowing that could have been your last day on the job?

I don't think I did anything different that day. I'm a man of my word. I wasn't going to skip out on my contract earlier. I was going to let it run out. These are the terms I agreed to and the dates I agreed to do, and I was definitely going to finish up. But I think I talked so much about everything and everybody that all eyes were on me and it created a high pressure situation. Thankfully, I thrive very well in those situations. I'd say I pulled it off. All this stuff I talk about, about being the best in the world, I certainly proved it that night. The match went near the 35-minute mark. But I wrestled for 93-minutes one time back in 2002 or 2003 in a Two-Out-Of-Three-Falls Match.

You mentioned on the Bill Simmons BS Report podcast that you had made the decision to come back and resign at WWE Money In The Bank. Do you think your decision was at all clouded a little bit too much by all the emotion going on that day?

I can definitely put it aside. I can be a robot if I need to be. Resigning was something that was on my mind day in and day out whether I was at the gym or sleeping. I was dreaming about it, I was really trying to figure out what the best decision was for me and my future. Call me crazy, but I was also trying to figure out what was the best decision for the company as a whole. I love what we do. I'm not going to get along with everybody I work with. I'm certainly not going to agree with everything all the time, but at the end of the day, I want everybody voice to be heard. I want this place to succeed. So I had to weigh my options.

Another thing we noticed is that you used the "W" word a lot in your tirades these last weeks. how much do you dislike saying "sports-entertainment"?

I don't hate it as much as you would think, but I really do think It's ridiculous when you're not allowed to say "wrestling." At the end of the day, that's what goes on in that ring. That ring is our stage. What we do on that stage is we wrestle. I'm not playing grab-ass. I'm out there fighting to win. Wins and losses mean something. Wrestling happens to be damn entertaining.

So is it weird to call yourself a "Superstar" as opposed to a wrestler?

I don't think it's weird. I think we're all Superstars. Absolutely. I don't think there's anybody else who can be called that. Would you call Brad Pitt a Superstar? Do I think Brad Pitt can do what we do? Absolutely not! Brad Pitt gets scripts and lines to study months ahead of time and he has a very controlled setting in which he looks the best he possible can. He has makeup on, there's lighting, there's people doing the sound and everything. We go out there on live TV every Monday night and kill it. That's where the entertainment part comes in. It's more entertaining then a Brad Pitt movie. There are no retakes, you know? There's no Take 1, Take 2—"I screwed that up, let me do it again." If we screw up, we screw up. That's the entertaining part.

One thing you did change is your entrance music, to Living Colour's "Cult Of Personality." Did you consider anything else?

No, that was the one. It was a throwback to my Indie days, but it also just fit. I have tremendous guts, I'd like to say, and it was just a gut feeling that this was the right thing to do, to change my music now. Did I like my old song? Absolutely. Was it recognizable? Sure, I had it for five years. Was it time for a change? Was it a risky thing? Yes and yes. But ultimately, I think it was the right move. I haven't been able to get the song out of my head since last Monday. It's a song that came out in 1989, when I was on my little league team, and now it just jumped into the iTunes Top 200. That's powerful. That should speak volumes to the WWE management. They should say, "Holy crap, this kid has the power to do something like that. Let's see what else he can do."

What's really different now that you're back? What are we really going to see that's not status quo?

I don't want to ruin any surprises, but I will tell you that when the Ramones were voted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, there was one surviving member of the original lineup left alive, and it was Marky. Marky originally was completely being in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. This is, after all, the establishment that shunned the entire band for it's entire career, and he wanted nothing to do with it. He was extremely adamant that, "No, you don't get the privilege of having the Ramones in your little club." My good friend, Lars Frederickson [of the band Rancid], got on the phone and said, "Marky listen to me. You almost have a responsibility to the underground to accept this award and be in the Hall of Fame to show that you are as big as the Rolling Stones, you are as big as the Beatles, you're as good as Led Zeppelin, all these mainstream bands that the Ramones maybe never got credit on the same level as." And that's kind of how I feel about WWE right now. I'm the guy who, for all intents and purposes, never should have even made it to WWE. Then I had roadblock after roadblock thrown in my way. Not only did I get past those roadblocks, It did it while flipping off the people who put up those roadblocks. I feel I have a responsibility to the younger wrestlers on the roster, the ones that aren't signed yet, and the future of wrestling as a whole, to help make this place better, and to change this place. I certainly can't change it by sitting on my couch in Chicago.
