For Sale: Large CNC Lathe and swarf conveyor - 22nd Oct 2014 1:03pm
Don't really know if this is of interest to anyone on here but I thought I would test the waters.
I have a lathe I am very reluctantly offering for sale, I bought this for my company as an addition to the regular services we offer. But due to a change in contracts, I need to free up some cash and this is something that is not needed.
Herbert Husky 1000, CNC, Centre Lathe. With FAGOR 8025 control , Swarf conveyor.
GE HiAk Drives and motors
300 mm chuck, 300 mm over bed. 250 mm over saddle, 1000 mm between centres.
The control was retrofitted by Hi-Tec machine services in the 90's and a new FAGOR control was fitted about
2009.
Can be seen working at the moment.
Quite a lot of spares and tooling.
Collection only ....
This is located in Durham and is very big, it will need moving with a truck equipped with a Hiab (crane).
Rough size is 4m long, 2m wide, 1.8m high and weighs 6 tonnes!!!
Cash on collection acceptable or bank transfer etc...
