I've not tried to MOT so don't know what needs doing - if anything!

Some prune has sprayed it at some point but didn't do a great job.

It's been sat for well over a year now. I've not ran it since before christmas but always started first time

All these were done before it was Sorn...

New fuelpump, fuel filter, coil, windscreen, exhaust.

Er. I would say so Ste. But it depends what you'd class as a bad paintjob. Looks ok from a distance!

It used to be petrol blue, it didn't need respraying, but some chav numpty decided to respray it in silver with rattlecans - I reckon it'd buff up OK, and does look fine from a distance. When I got it, the bonnet was half black, half burgundy and had pink Ripspeed pedals and the interior was half taken to bits. The starter motor was wired incorrectly and the terminals were half on and not bolted on properly (you had to stall the car to stop it) (all now fixed).

Engine was rebuilt a couple of years ago. It's a really decent car, from what I remember absolutely nothing was wrong with it mechanically with no corrosion at all (it's galvanised) and I reckon it'll pass another MOT no problem. 400 quid is a bargain.

Thanks Dave! I drove it until the MOT ran out after I bought it off you but then I couldn't really afford to run it as I had three cars at the time! So I sorn'd it with great plans for it. but due to other projects it got put on the back burner and now I'm skint...

Done a lot of work on these cars in my mecho past. Prone to front end prangs, damaged suspension and steering arms. A lot of parts on the early cars are Audi Quatro, from the spares bin!!

Also had my eye on the one in Redditch that finishes at 6 tonight as well - that ones on the road. Hardly any bids on it, I think the title makes people think he's selling a Haynes Manual.
