I have a vintage birthing chair from Spain, made of wood and tooled leather. Has three legs, - its surpossed to be like this ! . I am not sure how old it is could be a reproduction I am not knowledgable on this item.. Great conversation piece.

Found a picture that is similiar but the detailed bit in the middle is actually maroon leather.

Yes, I think I will, tried googling it but can’t find much info on the chair itself however it has come up with a Spanish birthing chair? (doesn’t sound like a good selling point haha)...I do know it’s around 60years old maybe more
Strange piece of furniture! - remember it when I was very little thinking I was the bees knees sitting on a three legged chair, now its in my loft collecting dust! – shame really not sure if I want to part with it,
The carvings in the middle aren’t actually on the chair I have - its just leather – the picture was just a rough idea what it looks like….its very similar
I will get it out the loft and take some photos when I get home!
