1981 Suzuki Whizzkid SC100
Doubt it'll interest anyone on here, but ...
Good runaround, less than 30 left in the country. This is in absolutely immaculate condition with no welding. Smaller than a Smart car, and only a couple of inches longer than a mini. Does 70mpg. RFS: I don't fondly remember carbed engines at all, I hate them. laugh

hi voilet
mine will be going to be painted next week and then its up for the mot. also need to locate a rear seat base, do you know what alloys fit these cars
when its painted your welcome to come see it also got to take it to its last owner to see as well
were you at newbrighton last week for the rally a friend said he had seen one down there

The wheels are 114.3 - so a lot of old Japanese cars fit, but max size is 13". Current cars are quite likely as Hyundais and Kia's come with alloys now and they're 114.3 and 12/13" and they will fit perfectly. Of course, there's Bedford Rascal/Surpercarry as well. Went into a scrappy and they had a set. Some on ebay as well! Do you have standard steelies on? If you're selling them, I'll take them off you, I need a spare!
What part of the rear seat base do you need? The bottom doesn't have a metal base, it just has two eyes on the front that screws go into.
Any pics would be interesting, you really don't see many of these about anymore!! How did you come across it? Brilliant find there!

Oh, I did go to the NB trials thing, it was probably me!

i need the rear seat base as mine had stood in a garage for 10 years with the window open rats had burrowed in to the rear seat so i had to sling it. i found my can on a site called preloved if your selling yours it might be worth putting it on there it doesnt cost anything, if i find a set of alloys wont need the steel ones so ill let you know

OK, thanks mate! There's an upholsterer's on Market St/Birkenhead St in Hoylake. They're old school and can do anything, and doing the foam insert would be easy, you're more than welcome to borrow mine if you need a pattern. smile

A prospective buyer is coming up from Birmingham on Tuesday, I think I'll be very sad to see this finally go up the street without me in it! frown

No, it's all done! Put it in for MOT yesterday and if (f*cking) failed on one thing (track rod end). Argh.
