In what could be described as a "doggie miracle", a loyal dog stood guard by its trapped friend for a week until the pair were found.

Tillie, a setter, and Phoebe, a basset hound, had been missing for a week when Vashon Island Pet Protectors in Washington state posted a desperate plea on Facebook last weekend in a last ditch effort to help find the two much-loved pets.

Would have been far more impressed if tillie had dialled 911. In this country the rspca would be suing dogs owner for neglect. Nice story all the same

I'd have been well impressed if Tillie had used a phone as well Fish, she is a dog after all. Simon Cowell would have her on Britains got Talent pronto, lol. Maybe I'm not getting what you mean Fish but don't understand your post .

Strange how animals twang at the hearts strings. Nice news story.

Has anyone tried the GPS 'tracker's' we can get for dogs and cats ? I somehow think they could be very advantageous. Different types different prices. I was looking at them the other day.
