moreton dog training club maryland lane moreton £15 annual membership fee, and then £7 each visit. Runs on a sat morning 12ish we are in the advanced class at 2pm but puppy classes are earlier, you can try it first, with no commitment. HOpe that helps.

There was an add on here last month I think for one thats just started, its at mosslands school I think and runs on thursday nights, they have a puppy class and an older dog class and sessions are £10 each, thats the only one I could find close enough to new brighton, but I work on thursday nights so I havnt been able to go yet, they have a facebook page, I think if you search for either wirral dogs or wallasey dogs they show up

I was looking at moreton but is too far for me as I dont drive and cant imagine what my dog would be like on public transport and the difference in price won't make any odds if I have to take myself and the dog on a bus

I remember looking at another one, again it was too far for my, I think it was in west kirby, its an 8 week long course and cost something like £65.

ive never bothered with puppy classes, ive a 12 month old american bulldog, that is like a kitten because she was taught the boundaries by my other 2 dogs. socialization is the best training, basic recall and sit/wait stuff can be done easily enough yourself

My dog has not had much socialisation, we had her for a month and before then was not taken out much, if at all, I take her to the park to socialise with other dogs but some owners are less than happy when she winds their dog up and jumps all over them, while I keep working on her re-call and she does a great sit, is good in the house with stay and leave it I think classes will help to socialise her and train her around other dogs with owners that are hopefully more understanding. It is easy to read up about training but sometime putting it into action can be hard without experiential knowledge

Champion Dogs in Arrow Park, are really good and good value for money. I have just completed the adult 1 training course and have moved on to agility. The trainers are really friendly and are always willing to help.
