I bought a fish pump off ebay for my Mums fish. There's no instructions in or on the box and the seller hasn't replied to 2 emails requesting either a leaflet or a description of how to assemble it think The annoying thing is, it's made by the company I bought it off so it's not like I can do a search for the destructions on t'interweb. I did look on Amazon just in case they stocked them and they do - the write ups for the company are not very good frown Wishing I'd done that first now but you live and learn!!

I've tried everything I think may work and tried it in the sink but so far, no joy frown

I know there's quite a few of you that have fancy fish so can anyone give me any advice on how to set it up? It's got a spray bar and a venturi pipe if that's any help. I'm guessing it's going to be something rather simple - like me raftl

Have you tried doing a search? You never know what you may find? Someone may have had a problem which has been answered and also gives the info you want?

HI, if its second hand? it probably needs striping down and cleaning the impeller might still have gunge/muck from the previous owners tank?.It should come apart easily so you can clean it hope this helpful?cheers mike. thumbsup

Softy - tried that but the only thing I found were complaints about the company/manufacturer frown They don't answer emails or the phone. It's going to be one for ebay to sort out methinks frown

PP - It's an internal one. I'm back home now smile I should have thought of you first really considering wink raftl

Mike - it's brand new bud smile

Is the motor running on it,is the impeller turning freely by hand,as sometimes they shove packaging in to protect it!?

Just give us a shout if you need me to pop round to your mum's or yours.

The motor and fan thing work fine PP, but when you attach the spray thing nothing comes out think I have no idea where the Ace Venturi tube thing goes as there doesn't seem to be anywhere for it to go raftl

It's an internal aquarium filter 200lf made by All Pond Solutions Red. This one.

Usually has an adapter fitting, instead of or with spray bar,its a tiny pump by the way not really any use for filtering tne water, more for disturbing water surface to add more oxygen.
Is it for that tank i saw if so its no bloody use to you or the fishes!
When its fully immersed try shaking it to dislodge airbubbles, cos if its got a new sponge in it they tend to trap a lot of air bubbles.

It is for that one, not as the only pump though. It was only to get a bit more oxygen in there. Just emailed them again and they've emailed the instructions.

Just followed the instructions and had to get changed as it drenched me raftl The Flugelhorn tube thing had to go outside of the water, not under it smack On the plus side, it works happy

Cheers guys - you're all fabulous!!
