hi all i have finally bought a pup yey after months of trying to find one x just wondered how often do they wee???? we bought her last night at 7.00 but so far she hasnt had a wee .she is 15 weeks old today .

If the pup has constant access to water and its drinking ok then it should have done plenty by now, if you are absolutly certain it hasn't urinated, a call to the vets would be wise.
Posted By: monsterz4 Re: german shepherd pup - 4th Aug 2011 7:22am
she had a good drink this morning x but didnt want a wee she just wants to curl up with the kids
Posted By: bert1 Re: german shepherd pup - 4th Aug 2011 7:32am
If she's had a good drink now and hasn't done anything in the next couple of hours i would definitly be concerned, I know its all money but it does no harm to have a new pup checked by a vet anyway. Good luck.

i will dont worry.she was only checked over yesterday by the vet when she had her needle xx will let you all know x

what age is best to spade them ?
Posted By: free_spirit Re: german shepherd pup - 6th Aug 2011 2:11pm
yeah they are nice to have.

we had a shep bred by maureen who does the police dogs, he ended up being a pets as therapy dog, worked with kids/adults scared of dogs etc and also saved penalties for charity at shows...lol
just so eager to please aren't they , will do anything for you.

we used to do a lot of bite work with him on the prom (on the sleeves)

i had a labby bitch years back, was recommended to get her done at 6 months..

we haven't de-boyed our lads , kept them intact...

ask your vet what age they recommend

awww what a beautiful puppy, but please don't get her spayed until she is at least 2. she will lose some of her growth hormones that they need to grow.

my puppy is 6 months now a boy Called Kaos. I have his Mum, Dad and Granny.

Reward her good behaviour with treats. put the lead on and reward, take it off, wait, put it back on and reward, etc, do the same when getting her to walk on the lead, hold treat out in front of her let her go to it, and reward. small steps, she will get there eventualy. Karen x

I don't get mine done until the 11th week anyway, I think 7 weeks is far too early, a lot of pups have bad reactions to the vaccs at such a young age.
