Firstly, I shouldn't think so. I mean, do they have ears??

Secondly - the post says "wneh" yet the quote box says "when" - what's all that abaaaaaaaaaaart??

And now it's changed think am I going a little bit mad??
Posted By: MissGuided Re: anyone found a Tortoise? - 25th Mar 2009 11:52pm
Their ears are there but are just invisible - how else would they be abl eto squeeze thru small holes in skirting boards? Maybe this is how he left?

As for the typo - Jim fixed it for me raftl

The thought of a tortoise squeezing through a hole in a skirting board has put a very strange image in my head raftl It involves pensioners - I'll say no more raftl

Posted By: MissGuided Re: anyone found a Tortoise? - 30th Mar 2009 9:33pm
don't you know - all tortoises are born with an outboard motor up their back ends! you often see them on the boating lake on Vally Rd - maybe that's where Bob was headed...

not far at all, he had nested in the garden (burrowed and backfilled) to survive the cold and just came wandering out during that bit of warmth yesterday or was it saturday.

Posted By: bert1 Re: anyone found a Tortoise? - 6th Apr 2009 9:57pm
It is a little known fact that during world war one Tortoises were trained to go out into no mans land and retrieve shot down carrier pigeons and bring them back to allied lines. though many were decorated it is believed this was the starting of presenting medals on a ribbon around the neck, because have you ever tried pinning a medal on a tortoises chest.
