If anyone could give me a date and place of manufacture from the hallmarks that would be great
I'm no good with them!
Chester 1915. and in case you cared, it's 9ct gold.
& the T&S Symbol probably stands for EJ Trevitt & Sons
Oh brilliant x-plore I,m so jealous, but very pleased for you. Bet you couldn't believe it when you dug that up. So There are still treasures in the ground, I was beginning to give up. Not been out myself for ages. You've inspired me again, great stuff...
Great find x-plore.Thanks for sharing.
When you out on your metal detecting Cools?
We do look forward to looking at your finds also.x
I don't find anything worth showing Snowy. I am going to join a metal detecting club though and hopefully go out with them on some digs, maybe get something then.
So much for my theory. I thought the symbol looked like Y from 1847 lol.

Wow thanks for the response, ID's and links everyone

It clearly says that T & S is Turner and Simpson on the link relating to the medallion. They had places in Chester, Birmingham and London.
How did T & S (Turner and Simpson ) become E J Trevitt & sons ?
Ha ha ! I get it now. Sorry.
We do well between us, don't we Venice ?

you sure? assay mark clearly is a Chester one...
My mistake! I was pointing out articles could be made anywhere and only a couple of places can proof them.
