Yet another great find X-plore.
The Lead figure looks really interesting.trying to suss if that has once been attached to something, or even a lucky charm that belongs to a bracelet.

Your religious pendant is a St. Christopher, The Patron St of Travel who was martyred in the 3rd century A.D. Roman Empire.

Would your sixpence not be a better find ?

Thanks for the info Granny. Thats just an Ebay chancer. If you look on completed listings they can sell from as little as 99p. They can go for alot more, but all depends on condition. Saying that, there could be very few for sale, and the particular coin is needed to complete a set, so bidders will bid more than usual for them.

They were made of silver then but as there are a couple of bids for that one shown on the link, I thought it would apply to many. smile

Oh Xplore you put me to shame! I,m obviously not trying hard enough but then again you have been at it a lot longer than I. Good finds again, I always look forward to seeing what you have found. Hopefully I,ll be able to show more items in the future rather than the couple I,ve found. Still really disappointed in my lead figure, aka twisted metal, thought I,d found something good, but onwards and upwards eh!

Could that bottom one be of the Wirral Horn
Posted By: bert1 Re: January finds 2015 - 28th Jan 2015 7:23am
The middle button is White Star Line, bottom button, light infantry, I think general purpose button for many regiments.

Did well again Xplore. Do you go detecting locally or do you travel outside the area ?
Posted By: x_plore Re: January finds 2015 - 28th Jan 2015 10:39am
Cheers Bert, I did wonder about the bottom one.

I go on my horse yard in Meols, and anywhere I can get permission. Really hard to get permission, wish I knew some farmers lol.

Yeah it is hard to think of where to go. That's why I thought of joining that club, think maybe they get more opportunity to get on these fields , and of course I won,t be alone. Will have to make the effort come the Spring.
