717,Finnigan's steak house, Hoylake

Finnigan's steak house was on the corner of Grosvenor Road and Albert Road.

I worked on the bar there for about a week, the stay behinds were mental, i was young and terrified lol

We used to go there Kimpri years ago in the back door walked past all the fresh steaks just on the table in the back ,ha not covered up but they could cook and yes the stay behinds some thing to tell the grand kids about eerrmmm better not lol

I remember taking a young lady there for dinner one evening. 9 December 1974. In those days I worked at Port Sunlight and she was based at Lever's head office down in Kingston. We had been talking for about a year over the phone and she had to come up on business for a day or two. I arranged to take her out that first evening.

We got married 5 October 1975.
