I used to go in there for lunch whilst doing day release at Birkenhead tech. in the early 70's.Cock and Pullet,bloody silly name,might suit a more rural pub.

Just had a thought, this has to be a wind up, "THE COCK AND PULL IT"

:r:, However a pullet is a young hen and we all know what a cock is (Feathered variety) The name of many country pubs.
